A LOVE-ly day!

Wow! What a fun weekend we had! We started out Saturday morning watching Landry's basketball game with friends and family. Great game Landry! The first picture is Landry running out at the beginning of the game. After all of his teammates ran to the bench at the start of the game, every one of them needed a swig of Gatorade! It's tough running all the way across the gym! It was cute!
Then we all went back to the house and had an awesome Valentine's party! We made cupcakes and planted flowers and ate lots of candy! The kids played so well together and we ended on an action-packed lightsaber showdown in the front yard! It was really a lot of fun! Thanks kids for bringing your parents to the party!

E-I-E-I-O!!!

Today Logan's class had some animal visitors! Logan loved watching me feed the llama and mostly stayed outside of the gate, but had such a fun time! His favorite was the bunnies, but he also got to pet ducks, baby chickens, baby goats, guinea pigs, and a llama! I love this part of being a mom! It's like the icing on the cake! The llama kept taking the cups from anyone trying to feed him and with the cup in his mouth would then tip it up so that he could eat the food! Logan loved that trick and kept saying, "Oh, I want to ride it!"

Thank goodness it's over...

Well, our week of stomach virus is finally over and we're back to reality again! We got to all enjoy passing the virus around throughout last week...what a blessing. Hopefully we've all rested enough to get back to everything! It actually turned out to be an OK week despite all the sickness, even my class was postponed a week...which turned out to be great since that's the night I got sick! Logan and Landry were down for about 5 days, so we did a lot of resting, reading, crafts, and movies. Sounds pretty fun, except for the virus part. I've noticed that just when I start to feel like things are going pretty well and I've got everything worked out and organized, the Lord reminds me that He is in control. I'm so thankful that the boys are feeling better!

Game Day for the Chargers

Landry has his game face on before the basketball game this past Saturday. He looks tough! The next two pictures are a little dark, but it's the whole team, the Chargers, and the last one is Landry taking a break after a tough 1st half! He looks very relaxed drinking that Gatorade! We had so much fun with Papa John, Mama Gina, Mimi, & Pop at the game this week. I can't believe how quickly kids grow up...Landry isn't supposed to be this big yet! Any secrets out there on how to slow that process down?

We don't do anything...

Today Landry got to go on a date with Mimi to see the new Veggie Tales movie about the Pirates who don't do anything! Thanks Mimi! Logan is still sick with a stomach virus, so he stayed home with mom. But Jason & I don't really need to see the movie now because we got an incredible review of the movie at dinner tonight! In the picture, Landry is explaining how to play a Nintendo DS game to Mimi. It's very important that we all learn every detail so that we can be up on the latest cool stuff!

In a galaxy far, far, away...

Well, we're back! We had some glitches with uploading the pictures the past week (the glitch having the name of Michelle!), but I've got it figured out now...I'm pretty sure anyway. The boys have been enjoying getting the "angry guy" (that would be Jason) this evening. They both really get into acting out scenes from Star Wars. Well, I should really say all three of them really get into the action, but I didn't think Jason would appreciate the action photos as much! But I am so thankful for a husband who gets so excited about playing and being involved with his children.
Landry wants to write something for everyone now:
Then Logan pretend to fall down and I was still up. And I about to pretend to get dad .

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from all of us! This whole blog thing is new to us, and inspired by my sister, Mandy (thanks Mandy!). We received a digital camera this Christmas from Mimi & Pop (yahoo!) So, off we go! We got started this morning with some wooden crafts. Landry made an airplane and Logan made a truck. They had the most fun with the painting, which is also the most to clean up! We had an early celebration for the new year last night at about 9:00pm...Landry said that's OK because it was already dark outside! We banged pots and pans and had a wonderful time. Then we prayed for Jonah & Caleb who are both in the hospital with pneumonia. Get better Jonah & Caleb!
